JACKLYN’s second segment ‘Retreat’ offers an escape, the notion of leaving to go to a safe place to avoid a difficult situation. In 2021, this rings especially true. The global pandemic is as prevalent as it was exactly a year ago, and we are still forced to surrender to factors outside of our control.

Rooted in anti-trend and transeasonal style, JACKLYN is made in Australia with a zero waste initiative. Each segment explores an attitude, with the brand’s debut collection ‘Bare’ acting as an interpretation of excess, stripping back to the essential.

Where ‘Bare’ lays a foundation, responding to the needs of modern women, ‘Retreat’ takes a step back, reflective of a period spent indoors and predictive of what is soon to come. All materials used in the collection are deadstock fabrics with natural fibre composition, a conscious decision to reduce landfill and emissions, while still creating garments that last longer and feel great against the skin.
